It marks an exciting new chapter for Middleton Garage and we’re proud to be bringing Kia’s new generation of purpose-built electric vehicles to customers in the UK. Whether you’re a business looking for a practical and capable electric van, or you need a flexible passenger vehicle with space for everyday life, the PV5 range has been designed from the ground up to offer something different.
Designed with businesses in mind, the Kia PV5 Cargo combines the practicality of a commercial vehicle with a modern all-electric platform.
Depending on the version, the PV5 Cargo offers an electric driving range of up to 258 miles (WLTP), while rapid DC charging can take the battery from 10% to 80% in around 30 minutes. Its carefully designed load area provides up to 4.4m³ of cargo capacity, making it suitable for everything from local trades and service businesses to deliveries and fleet operations.
A low loading height, wide access and practical interior layout have all been designed around the needs of people who actually use their vehicle for work.
It’s also already making an impression, with the PV5 named International Van of the Year 2026.
The Kia PV5 Passenger takes the same innovative electric platform and adapts it for people rather than cargo.
With a spacious interior, wide sliding doors and a low step-in height, it has been designed to make getting in, getting out and travelling with passengers easier. There’s up to 1,330 litres of luggage space behind the seats, with considerably more available when the rear seating is folded. Depending on specification, electric range extends to up to 256 miles (WLTP), with the same rapid-charging capability of approximately 10–80% in 30 minutes.
That combination of space and flexibility makes the PV5 Passenger an interesting option for families, leisure use and organisations that regularly need to transport people and their equipment.
The PV5 Passenger is also available through the Motability Scheme, subject to eligibility, model availability and current Scheme terms.
