The Kia PV5 Cargo brings together practical load space, all-electric performance and technology designed to make the working day easier. From local deliveries and service calls to transporting tools, equipment and stock, it offers a flexible foundation for a wide range of businesses.
The Cargo family includes three body configurations: the compact L1/H1, the longer L2/H1 and the high-roof L2/H2. The L and H codes describe the vehicle's length and roof height, helping you choose the space that suits your work. Battery, trim, seating and door choices add further flexibility, with availability depending on the version selected.
At Middleton Garage, our team can help you compare the options and choose a PV5 Cargo around your load requirements, daily mileage and charging arrangements.
Every PV5 Cargo starts with Kia's dedicated electric PBV platform, designed around the needs of commercial users. Its electric powertrain delivers smooth automatic driving with no tailpipe CO₂ emissions, while a practical load area helps businesses make useful space work harder.
The UK Essential and Plus specifications for L1/H1, L2/H1 and L2/H2 also bring a generous level of everyday equipment. Navigation, smartphone connectivity, air conditioning and parking assistance help make the van as useful from the driver's seat as it is at the loading doors. Driver assistance systems support you on busy roads and longer journeys, while useful cabin storage keeps everyday essentials close to hand.

The main differences between the Cargo versions are the size of the load area, battery choice and level of equipment. Start with what you need to carry, then consider your typical route, charging opportunities and the features that will make the greatest difference to your working day.
L1/H1: Compact dimensions, practical carrying space
The L1/H1 is the shorter Cargo, making it a useful choice for town-centre deliveries, service calls and businesses that regularly park in tighter spaces. At 4,495mm long, it is 200mm shorter than the L2/H1, while still offering a load length of 2,055mm and an announced cargo volume of 4.0m³.
L2/H1: More length for everyday versatility
The L2/H1 adds useful load length without moving to the taller roof. Its 2,255mm cargo floor and 4.4m³ load volume suit a wide variety of tools, parcels and equipment. A 419mm rear loading step helps with repeated loading and unloading, while published battery options provide up to 258 miles of combined WLTP range.
L2/H2: Extra height for larger loads
The high-roof L2/H2 is designed for businesses carrying taller or bulkier items. Kia has announced a 2,255mm load length and 1,815mm interior cargo height, with around 5.2m³ of cargo volume. It offers another way to match the van to your work; contact Middleton Garage for the latest UK ordering information, final specification and delivery timing.
Carrying capacity depends on the body size, battery, door arrangement and seating configuration. *The L2/H2 has an announced maximum payload of up to 630 kg. This figure remains provisional and should not be assumed to apply to every grade, door arrangement, seating layout or Walk Through version. Confirm the final permitted payload for the vehicle ordered with Middleton Garage.
The figures above follow published specifications and are not a guarantee for every vehicle or model year. Passengers, accessories, racking, tools and conversions affect the remaining carrying capacity. Consider everything you normally carry when choosing your van, and always observe its permitted total and axle weights.

L2/H2 UK battery choices and final homologated range are to be confirmed. WLTP figures are for comparison; actual range varies with load, temperature, speed, terrain, driving style and use of heating or other equipment. Charging times depend on charger output, the vehicle's charging limit, battery temperature, state of charge and other conditions. An 11kW supply is required to achieve the quoted 11kW AC times.

Your Kia PV5 Cargo is backed by Kia's 7-year/100,000-mile manufacturer's warranty, whichever comes first for business use, giving you reassurance as your van becomes part of everyday working life. Cover transfers to subsequent owners for the remaining warranty period, provided the applicable conditions are met. Separate high-voltage battery capacity cover extends to 8 years/100,000 miles, with a 70% capacity threshold at that limit; Kia's PBV terms also specify an 80% threshold at 5 years/60,000 miles. Warranty cover is subject to Kia's terms, exclusions and servicing requirements, and some components have shorter cover periods. Our team can explain the cover that applies to your vehicle.
